Bodyguard Clubs
Bodyguards need to possess very special qualities, and no, I don’t mean a deep voice and a pair of dodgy shades . . . I mean qualities like;
- physical fitness (not just to get past the interview stage either, they’ve gotta’ be fit enough to spring into action whenever necessary to protect their client and their clients family)
- work independently, they’ve got to be able to rely on their own talents and abilities to keep their clients safe (and their client needs to be able to rely on them too)
- work as a team. Very often there will be a whole team of bodyguards working to protect a very important client or bunch of clients – governmental meetings, high powered rallies and events, rock concerts, sports events . . . etc, one bodyguard cannot be expected to provide security that these types of events, we’re talking a whole bodyguard club is needed. Imagine the President going about his daily business with just one bodyguard . . . I don’t think so, there’ll be a whole bodyguard club, or team of them.
- good planning skills. Preparation and planning is a large part of the duties of a bodyguard, if you know what to expect then there’s no excuse for being surprised and having to deal with the unexpected. Good bodyguards need a “get out safely plan” for all eventualities.
Does this sound like you? Then maybe a position in the bodyguard club would be a great career move for you.
